minute paper 3-6-08

yesterday in class we watched some videos of ads, and the ridiculous promises that retail goods offer. We talked about propaganda, and how ads are full of propaganda. The GNN and these ad busters try to expose the bullshit promises and assumptions that advertisers use in their ads. If you can't tell what is true and fake by now, or what you need and what you want, and can't decifer if you really need something by this point in your life you are a complete idiot.
