Minute Paper 3/6/08

I think it is really disturbing to think that the American people are not shown the truth about many things. Every citizen of this country has the right to be given the right facts on a bias point of view. The fact that the media only broadcasts what they want you to see, shows disturbing similarities as a dictatorship. The video clip on the CIA and the corruption within that system definitely is an example of what is not shown to the people across the country. In watching these videos in class today, I actually felt as if I have been really affected by the media as well. It is actually scary to see how much of a big impact a single commercial about a product has on its consumer.
